No Perfect People Allowed
We have to admit, the idea of "no perfect people allowed" didn't originate with us, but it fits us very well. Over the years, churches have gained the reputation of being judgmental and identified by what they are against. You don't have to look very far to find a church that fits that mold.
But we don't believe that's Jesus' mold. We believe our first and foremost task at the church is to love. We say our mission is to "love God and share the transforming grace of Jesus" and we mean what we say. We recognize that there is right and wrong, but are not called to be the ones who make that judgment. We'll let God sort it all out in the end. In the meantime, we choose to love.
So come as you are. Come with your sin, your guilt, your hypocrisy, your fear, and your anxiety. Come join the club. Bring those things to the feet of Jesus and find rest and healing. In Matthew 11, Jesus said, "Come to me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest."
When you come, we hope you find that you're accepted and loved for who you are. We'll walk with you as you grow and leave behind the old things and find fulfillment in a relationship with Jesus.
